Calgary Flames to Honour Legendary Goaltender Miikka Kiprusoff
2010-11 Tribute Goalie Mask Unveiled

Calgary Flames fans will have the chance to witness the retirement of Miikka Kiprusoff's jersey on Saturday. To commemorate the event, the team has unveiled a special tribute goalie mask that will be worn by Brendan Peters, also known as Mini Kipper. The mask features a detailed painting of Kiprusoff in his Flames uniform, along with various Calgary landmarks.
In addition to the special mask, fans will also have the opportunity to take a photo with a life-sized Kiprusoff statue on the main concourse of the Scotiabank Saddledome. The statue will be unveiled before the game and will remain in place throughout the weekend.
Kiprusoff played 10 seasons with the Flames, winning the Vezina Trophy as the league's top goaltender in 2006. He retired in 2013 as the Flames all-time wins leader with 303.
